First made in 2001, the ORIGINAL money candle was a pillar that revealed various coins as it burned. Family and friends receiving the candle suggested there be a bigger reveal.
On their suggestion, the Money Candle was revamped in 2003. This Candle contains actual money!! Burn the candle and find a surprise dollar amount inside! We make these in small batches of 50 candles to give you great odds. Coins may be anywhere from the top to the base, so you may have to burn all the way to find your surprise.
43/$1, 5/$2, 1/$10 and 1 holds $100 exclusively in store at SHC or this website. SHC also makes for other businesses with slightly different rewards.
The coin(s) will reveal itself as the candle burns. Extinguish and remove with tweezers or a spoon. The big reveal is in a glass bottle. If you are the lucky recipient, you will have to excavate your reward.
These 12oz candles are soy based wax, and burn for approximately 70 hours.
